Are there individual tables that can be booked?

We have long feasting tables; you can book your seat or seats for as many or as few as you would like. Your seats are reserved by bringing your own napkin and laying it over your chair on arrival, just how you would reserve a picnic spot. We will always try to accommodate large groups who wish to sit together.

How do I reserve my seat?

Please email reservations@dininginplainsight.co.uk. Bookings are first come first served. We will send you a secure payment link. Your booking is not reserved until we have received payment in full. If the date you would like to come is fully booked, we can hold a waiting list and keep you up to date of any availability.

What is the format of the night?

Guests are invited to arrive at 7.30pm with canapé and English sparkling wine to start the evening. The experience will flow organically, being dictated not by strict timings but by the art of cooking over fire. An exclusive wine list will be available on the night. We will have a small selection of local and artisanal after dinner drinks available, due to the nature of being off grid and cooking over fire cafetieres of coffee and fresh mint tea will be available on request. Carriages 11.30pm.

Can I pre order wines?

Yes you can, and this is our preference. We have a wine list created for us by our very own Sommelier. Our wines have been chosen to pair with our seasonal menu and the smoky flavours of fire cooking.

Is there a dress code?

Please make sure you dress for the weather not the occasion. Our glass marquee means we can dine in all weathers bars the worst of the storms. Sensible footwear is recommended.

Is there car parking available?

Car parking will always be available but its proximity to dinner is dictated by the venue and the weather. Due to the nature of our locations we advise that sports car sand low riding vehicles may not always be the best form of transport, however glamourous they may be. We encourage guests to car share where possible.

Can you cater for allergies?

Please ensure you inform us of any allergies and intolerances when you reserve your seat and we will do our best to accommodate them. Cooking over fire means we cannot cater for serious allergies due to cross contamination. We will always have a vegetarian option available.

Are your locations accessible?

We will always do our best to accommodate all accessible needs, please ensure you notify us as soon as possible and we will report back on the lay of the land.

Is there accommodation available?

This is location dependant. We can however recommend an array of local places to stay for all budgets.

What if I have bought my ticket but cannot attend?

We are unable to offer refunds due to the nature of pop up events, however you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else. Please make sure you let us know any changes to your booking ASAP.

Are children allowed to attend?

Dining in Plain Sight is strictly over 18’s only.

Are pets allowed?

As much as we would like to invite pets, unfortunately we cannot accommodate them. Please note that due to the nature of our events there may be resident pets on site, domesticated and otherwise!

Is there live music?

No, we believe the sweet sound of conversation is better than any live music.

Can I explore the location?

We ask our guests to respect the locations we pop up in, tours are not available and we ask that you don’t explore off the designated areas. We always extend an invite to our hosts, suppliers and growers to dine with us.
